Best Mexican food in Sonoma County period. Ask for the habanero salsa if you think you can hang.

Unassuming neighborhood Mexican joint. Vegetarian options are limited, but the veggie burrito is BONKERS good.

As reasonable as it is GOOD. Authentic. Worth the trip. My girlfriend and I split breakfast and could not have been more satisfied. A side of cornitas and it could not have been better. Staff made us feel welcome. Excellent service. Been there a few times and will be coming back.

Nice place to stop in for authentic Mexican fare. Food is made fresh and the meats are tasty. Staff is friendly and service is good. Happy vibes made our visit a pleasure. I tried the chile relleno and a quesadilla with chorizo... very delish!

Tasty food and reasonably priced enormous kids meals- we were glad we stopped at this place. The people who worked here were so friendly and kind too.

Huge grilled chicken super burritos. We asked if we could have black beans rather than refried beans in our burritos. No problem! Great flavors through out the burritos and the chips and salsa were house made. Very nice selection of non-alcoholic drinks and beers. Las Palmas has a very friendly staff that was happy we came in for lunch. The chips beans and salsa were all fresh. I can't wait to come back and try more.

Very simply the best Mexican food in Santa Rosa. A lot of Mexican restaurants think that al pastor means "red grease and lots of onions", not here. Everything I've ever ordered here has been fantastic! Big portions too!

Delicious food & great prices. All orders come with some chips and salsa. Whole black beans and refried pintos we’re spot on. Their rice is Spanish style with a little more of the Spanish style flavor coming through than most places, which works well with the black beans.

Saucy and soooo delicious! The burrito is humongous. It becomes two meals for me - I like grabbing it for lunch and eating the rest for dinner. But beware.. it is a burrito so it might stir up some gut gas! (:

this place is terrible. the owners if they don't like you for some reason they will put a wad of hair in your food.. but I'm filing a complaint with the health department also they don't even have a business/tax licences in public view very disgusting restaurant

Love the chimichanga here, carnitas. Their homemade habanero sauce is KILLER. And I highly recommend it. Half liter bottles Coke for the win also. Wish the chips were bottomless.

Good flavoring but food is reheated. Priced as fresh food though. The tortillas have been in the fridge for so long they were falling apart.

Small family run taqueria near downtown Santa Rosa. I didn't ask but it appears the father runs the kitchen and the daughters wait tables, take orders, work the register, and help in the kitchen. The menu has several vegetarian and vegan options and they offer whole wheat tortillas for those who prefer them. Food is tasty and well prepared. Portions are large. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Vegans should note that the chips are fried in oil that is sometimes used to fry meat. I would definitely go back. Recommended.

Vegetarian options! A really good veggie burrito with actual vegetables in it, and an even better veg taco. Even the tortilla and the black beans were exceptional.I'm really glad I found it.

Little hidden taqueria, this is why I love California! Nice people, huge burritos! Enough for 2 meals easily. Mine must have weighed 5 lbs. My veggie burrito was full of squash, broccoli, onions and it was all very fresh. Whenever I'm on Santa Rosa Ave, this is my new go to place!

From LA ...looked up good taco spots, this came up & highly recommend. My amigo that is a chef & came out on TACOS CHRONICLES on Netflix swear it was the BEST AL PASTOR ...EVER. I ate there chicken 🐔 tacos.....BOMB!!!

As Mexican food is not my favorite, I always passed on Taqueria Las Palmas, just a block from my house, until one night, being too tired for grocery shopping, I finally gave it a chance. It turns out I should have done this long ago! I ordered the Special Taco ($4) with beef (chicken or pork being the other choices). Took it home.. opened the package.... the aroma just knocked me out... like Heaven! And while I ate, I made plans to go back again. And take my friends with me! Their salsa is perfect and the tortillas seem homemade (they are soft and chewy and fragrant, ooooeeee!) Is it possible to not particularly like Mexican food and yet my favorite local place serves Mexican food? This is a conundrum. Or, maybe I like Mexican food after all?
